‘Under lockdown all human interaction has been limited to video calls. Before Covid-19 I would never turn the camera on, now I find myself actively incentivising calls by turning them to trips to the pub. There have been many a good night down the Skype and Whistle, the Zoom Arms and the Stay Inn, to name just a few of the pubs I have been frequenting.’
